THE PARK POST

We had so much fun watching the Johnson kids the last two days.  They are so sweet and easily entertained.    The snickerdoodles were a hit!  They loved rolling the balls in cinammon and sugar (we did some thorough hand washing first) and then smashing them with a cup ("are you sure it's ok if we smash the cookies??")     They loved the high heels too. Why do we try so hard to think of new things to buy kids, when really it is the simple things they love the most??

After our vacation with the Ogdens, we headed off to the condo at Bear Lake. Sean and Natalie brought their boat and showed the kids a great time.  We roasted marshmallows, star gazed with the iPhone, and watched Nick spray sand in Big Red's face. (A moment we will never forget)  Our last night in Utah we went back to my mom's house for a delicious home cooked meal that was amazing and we got to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Fabrizio for a few hours.  They just keep on ticking, like the Energizer Bunny.  We woke up early to catch our flight back to Atlanta and left Paige in Utah for 3 more weeks so she could attend EFY and Ballet Camp.  

Being able to spend time with both of our families is always extremely tricky.  So this trip we divided the time in half.  The first few days we spent with the Ogdens in Fairview at the Zoll Cabin.  The last few days we spent with the Parks at Bear Lake.  We were on the move and living out of our suitcases for 10 days, but we had a great time with both families.  We feel so blessed to have such great families that we love to be around.
