THE PARK POST

Yesterday I felt a deep sense of patriotism as I baked this flag fruit pizza and teared up listening to Lee Greenwood sing he's proud to be an American. Jackson thought I was nuts, but the older I get the more sentimental and sappy I become.  It was our first time being home for the 4th in several years and we loved just being around here. We enjoyed spending the day swimming, eating and watching fireworks downtown Columbus with our friends the Packards. 

Paige attended a 2 week summer ballet intensive this year with the Joffrey Ballet.  They have a site in Milledgville, Ga. so she didn't have to go too far which was nice for us.  She has always loved going away for camps.  She doesn't have a homesick bone in her body.  She was glad to go but realized BYU was just as fun and the teacher's were no better than at BYU.
