                                                                             This Valentine's Day was one for the books!  There is no way to describe what it feels like to have a child come home from a mission.  They are so genuinely happy and confident in who they are.  They are humble and kind and loving.  My sister in law Tammy described it well when she said they are like new born babies that can talk and reason.  I'm a witness now to how powerful missions can be in someone's life.  Paige has always dealt with some anxiety and depression but on her mission she had no symptoms of that.  She has since told me that one big factor to her happiness was not being on social media.  I do wonder how it is affecting our children's  ...

McKell became an adult this year!! She is 18 and ready to move on to bigger and better things. The senioritis is kicking in early.   Golfing in January is one of the perks to living in Arizona.  My dad is learning to love his new home in Encanterra and we've been happy to see him playing golf again.  Mike said this is one of the most beautiful courses he has ever played. With one month to go Sis. Park was finishing her mission strong!   A family in our ward had their lives turned upside down when their house burned down a few weeks after Christmas.  One of the great things I love about our church is our organization and willingness to jump in on a tragedy and help families in need.  At 8:00 am on a Saturday all of the youth and some adults arrived on the scene and got to work.  Everything was soaked with water and so we carefully peeled apart pictures, cleaned off ash, dried out books, etc. until 4 or 5 th...
