Sports, Sports, Sports

It seems like around the holidays the sports start to take over a little here at our house. Every game seems to hold major significance for one reason or another, and now that my husband has HD on his big screen we have to watch just to appreciate the beauty of the picture. (I do have to admit the picture is more clear, but I don't think it will change our lives.) Jackson is starting to get into watching and playing sports. I have to say I enjoy watching my kids play more than the professionals on TV. It is fun to see him maturing and growing in new ways. Last week at basketball practice his coach had them scrimmage some 8th graders who had just taken 8th in the country in a tournament. They take sports very seriously here in the South, and the competition level is a little different than it was in Washington. There are some serious athletes here and this will be a whole new ball game for him this year.

  3. I'm shocked! HD didn't change your life FOREVER! Ryan is convinced life would never go on without HD. Gotta love sports fanatic husbands! Connor is starting his first B-Ball team through the Y this week. It should be fun. Jackson looks like he can hold his own with those 8th graders!
