Prom Dresses
The girls found my old prom dresses in the closet and spent a good half hour mocking my taste in clothes. (I just can't understand why, these were really the "in" thing 20 years ago :)Then they tried them on and realized they fit and were even more shocked that I actually used to be their size. They couldn't believe their dad was attracted to me while wearing these dresses. Honestly, I can't believe it either. But I told them they better watch what they say, because what comes around goes around.

You looked adorable in those dresses! It's amazing how big our kids have gotten...ha ha, Corey wouldn't be able to fit into my dress...she's way too tall :) It's funny how it's so hard for our kids to realize that we used to be kids, too. I can't wait to see what they will look like in their own prom dresses.
ReplyDeleteI Love It!! So cute! How awesome that you went to both proms with Michael. Glad you saved the dresses too.
ReplyDeleteI wish I would have saved my dresses now. I didn't even think about it. My girls would love trying those on too. I think you looked very cute in the dresses. I don't know what your girls are talking about...mine were much worse. :)
ReplyDeleteHaHa...Didn't Mom have an issue with the one with straps? For some reason I remember this "discussion". Maybe it was one of Kalli's. I always loved the pink "mermaid" dress. :)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, Mike looks like he is 12 and your bangs...the time spent on bangs in the 80's-90's.
