Columbus Confusion

Yesterday I got a frantic phone call from Paige telling me she had to be at The Columbus Museum in 15 min. for an orientation meeting (she is doing her community service hours there working in the gift shop).  I couldn't take her because I was at the orthodontist with McKell, so I call Mike and tell him to pick her up, but he is stuck in traffic on base and realizes he'll be really late.  So I quickly look up the phone number on google and call asking about who I need to talk to about this meeting so that I can tell them she will be late.  No one seems to know anything about the meeting and when I tell the woman that my daughter is from Columbus High School, she says which high school in Columbus?  I reiterate that the name of the high school is Columbus and that it has been around for 100 years here.  She still doesn't seem to get it, and I start judging her in my head thinking she is not from around here or just a young, inexperienced college student, or worse just not very bright.  I get off the phone and ask Paige to call the number and ask specifically for the woman's name on the paper.  When she calls they have no idea who the person is.  Finally my brain wakes up and I remember that the area code I had called was 661, not 706, and as I go to look back at the site of the Columbus Museum, I realize that we are calling the Columbus Museum in Columbus, Ohio!!

Judge not that ye be not judged, because in the end you might be the imbecile you think the other person is.
