We spent New Year's Eve in Flagstaff with all of the kids and Jonny and Jo. We had a great time playing games, laughing, eating amazing food thanks to Jonny and Paige, and skiing. Everyone got along great and we felt so blessed to have those precious moments all together. The snow was so beautiful and it felt like we were in a dream world. The cold was fun for a few days, but I'm always glad to be back in warmer weather. The only downside to the trip was Jackson got really sick with Covid, and so that was a coincidental repeat from our ski trip last year to Flagstaff when Jackson gave covid to all of us. Luckily Mike, Sydney and I didn't get sick, but the other kids all tested positive. Looking forward to 2022 I told the kids that my word of intention is BELONG! They couldn't believe their dad was attracted to me while wearing these dresses. Honestly, I can't believe it either. But I told them they better watch what they say, because what comes around goes around.
This cook book has changed our lives. We call it the "golden" book (not to be confused with the golden plates) because everything we make out of this book turns out awesome. It has been almost magical! This weekend Mike and I also put in this path that took us a good 5 hours or so. He has had more free time since he's been moonlighting less. I have been wanting to work on this project for a loooong time, so i was excited to see it come to fruition. There are few things more attractive to a woman than a man with a shovel in his hand and sweat pouring down his face? He thinks the same thing about me in an apron baking a chocolate cake. Those distinctive male/female evolutionary roles and instincts run deep. Th...
