Harder Than it Looks
With Mike being gone on Sunday mornings now I realized it was time for Jackson to learn how to tie his own tie. I think there must be something genetically wrong with me because I just can't get it. So as Mike started trying to teach Jackson he realized that he couldn't figure out how to teach someone to do it--he could just automatically do it. It's interesting how there are many things in life like that that we just do automatically without realizing we had to be taught how to do it. Walking, talking, eating, driving, etc. We should all give ourselves a lot of credit for all of the things we have learned to do in life. Unfortunately tying a tie is not on mine or Jackson's list yet.
Morgan and I went through the same thing. Chad was NEVER EVER home to help, and I just seemed to have a tie-tying-on-someone-else disability. A few times kind men from the ward would stop him and readjust as needed. Fortunately, now Morgan is a pro. I myself never did conquer it!
