May is Such a Busy Month

We are only half way through May, but it has already been a very busy start!

Chivas went undefeated during the season, then lost their first tournament game.  Jackson has been playing goalie lately and really hated it.  Kind of glad it's over.

I am the room mom for Sydney's class this year.  I went and watched them for a couple hours so Mrs. Dubois could go to the luncheon.  I officially know I don't want to teach elementary school.  Too many tears, tattle-telling, and tantrum throwing for me.  I'm good at making candy gram posters though:)

Sydney and Hannah enjoying the weather.

The young women are getting ready for camp in June.  We had a sleep-over here the first Friday night in May to help them certify their cooking.  Then last Friday we held a fundraiser because several of our girls can't afford to go.  They offered three hours of baby-sitting at the church so that moms could get a break for Mother's Day and then leave any size donation they could. They are such a great group of girls with good attitudes and we had some generous donors!
I was glad to see Sydney playing and using her imagination in her room with her toys.  They outgrow it so fast!
