20 Year Anniversary!
I've been scanning in all of our wedding pictures today and ran across some other gems:
Married in the S.L. Temple on Sept 2, 1993. Our experience that day inside the sealing room is one of our most spiritual experiences we've had together. We could literally FEEL the love and presence of our family and future family in that room. It was incredible. Our sealer was Collins Jones.
The photographer who was almost an hour late, made us take some really stupid photos. But they are kind of funny to look at today! The reception was at my parents newly built house on Wasatch Blvd.
Heath was missing from our photos because he was serving a mission in Chile. We just couldn't wait another 18 months. My grandma and grandpa Fabrizio were also missing because they were serving a mission in Italy.
I had good intentions with these bridesmaids outfits. They were meant to be worn long after the wedding was over. Didn't quite work out. I've always been a little deficient in the fashion realm.
These three little ones are all grown up now. It's hard to believe they were the only grandchildren on both sides at the time. Hailey is 23 now and Lexi and Aerin are 20 year old missionaries.
We started adding up the years since we've known each other and it is actually 30 years ago that we first met in 6th grade math class. Those years have flown by, but I can attest that choosing to spend the rest of eternity with Mike is the best decision I've ever made. Can't wait for the next 30.

This note written as we started our Senior year of High School reassured me that he would be loyal to me and he has always kept his word. (Except maybe once after his mission ha ha) |

We were engaged for only 5 weeks. Engagement Pictures were taken by my mom up Big Cottonwood Canyon. |

I love your pictures!!! We celebrated our 20 year anniversary last month too! It's crazy how time flies. Those bridesmaids dresses remind me of mine. They were a very similar floral pattern and colors, just different style. You are an awesome couple! I am glad you guys found each other. Eric sometimes says he wishes that we would have known each other growing up so that when we talk about people or experiences from our childhood that we would know the people, etc. I also love the notes...too funny!
ReplyDeleteI had forgotten that we were married the same year. Time really does fly.
