Golfing in
January is one of the perks to living in Arizona. My dad is learning
to love his new home in Encanterra and we've been happy to see him
playing golf again. Mike said this is one of the most beautiful courses
he has ever played.
| With one month to go Sis. Park was finishing her mission strong! |
A family in our ward had their lives turned upside down when their house burned down a few weeks after Christmas. One of the great things I love about our church is our organization and willingness to jump in on a tragedy and help families in need. At 8:00 am on a Saturday all of the youth and some adults arrived on the scene and got to work. Everything was soaked with water and so we carefully peeled apart pictures, cleaned off ash, dried out books, etc. until 4 or 5 that evening. It was overwhelming to watch the devastation this family faced, but it was also one of the most rewarding things to witness the goodness in humanity.
The palm trees and sunrises never get old.
Ace's
favorite time of year is when the leaves fall off our big trees in
January. He loves to chase them and try to catch them in his mouth.
It's kind of weird to have Fall in January, but at least it makes it
seem like we have a change of season.
Flag football champs--Greenfield 4th Ward
This is our 4th time doing the "Got Blubber" science project. Probably one of our least favorite things to do is science fair, but once you've got it down, why change it up. Ha Ha We admit this is one of our parent fail areas!! However, Sydney has a new obsession with making slime, that counts as science right?
