February Love
On Valentines Day McKell texted us these sweet cards. Nothing makes a parent happier!!

Sydney loved playing church volleyball. They almost pulled off the championship!

Jackson's newest addiction is brown rice, cholula sauce and ranch. I don't know where he comes up with these concoctions.
One morning while I was going through old letters and notes from my past, the doorbell rang and when I opened it John and Yvonne Hansen from our Logan years were standing there. We hadn't seen each other for 14 years and because they don't do social media I really had no idea what they were up to. I had continued to send her Christmas cards over the years and so she had my address and took a chance that we still lived here. What a sweet couple hours we had together. She was the RS president and I was her counselor way back in the day and they also lived two doors down in our little townhome in Yorkshire. When you have a real connection to someone it doesn't take any time to catch up, nor did it feel like 14 years had passed.
Both girls went on trips with friends over President's Day weekend and didn't even ask permission. ha ha Their dad didn't really like that part. Paige went to California and McKell went to Colorado. They both really loved it and I was happy for them!
Caroline invited Sydney and I to go hiking with her girls, Grace and Brooke, and Kate and Presley on Pres. Day. I really like to hike, even in the desert. The wind almost blew those girls off the mountain (hill if you're from Utah), but we all survived! I also tried my first Acai bowl. Pretty tasty, but I prefer an ice cream Sunday.
