Spring Break

We had high temps this week in Georgia, so we decided to head to Savannah and Tybee Island for some beach action. We had a great time being all together with no lessons or school to interrupt us. We stayed in a hotel in the historic district of Savannah and walked the famed river street with its cobblestone, ships, and slavery history. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and having their own room in the hotel (we liked it too). We went to The Pirate's House for dinner one night. It was a bit over-priced, but it was a fun atmosphere. During the days we drove out to Tybee Island where the kids played in the waves for hours and we enjoyed watching them from the beach. It was so relaxing!! I wish we could do it more often.

  1. Looks like an enjoyable spring break. Maybe we'll have to head that way next year for spring break. It looks MUCH warmer than Idaho was! McKell looks so different that I hardly recognize her, and she is almost as tall as Paige now. Jackson has grown tall too.

  2. How fun! I think your vacation was much warmer than ours, too! I also noticed that McKell looks so much more grown up than when you guys lived here.

  3. Cute pics, everyone looks more grown up with every post. I've always wanted to go to Savannah, did you eat at the Lady and Sons Resturant? We spent Spring Break in Blackfoot at a 20 degree snowy Easter egg hunt. Such fun! We miss you guys!
