The Cat Saga Continues. . .
The cats have still not left our backyard. I kept accusing the kids of feeding them on the sly, but after yesterday I realize that's not the case. Jackson and Sydney found this little chipmunk out on the porch where the cats have been staying. At first I thought he was lounging like the cats, but upon further inspection we realized he had a mortal wound on his back and had been attacked. A few days before that we found a dead bird back there in the same spot. I think they are truly hungry and for some reason don't want to leave us. Today I'm heading over to animal control to pick up some traps so that they can take over. I don't want to have to bury anymore animals.
Oh my gosh! I am laughing so hard right now! I know it's probably not funny to you, but those pictures were hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI do not like cats at all and their bringing dead critters home is one of the biggest reasons. Good luck with the traps!
ReplyDeleteYuck! Sorry you had to deal with that and the burial too. That is so nasty! I experienced that nastiness as a kid with burying dead animals and hope I never have to deal with it again. I hope the cats are gone for good. Glad you enjoyed the cleansing! :)
