Cruise to Cozumel
We decided to take a cruise to celebrate Mike's return from Iraq. We met up with Katie and Nick and Grandma and Grandpa in Tampa and then cruised for 4 nights to Mexico. Despite a little grumpiness and fighting at the beginning of the trip (and no I'm not referring to any of the adults), we all had a great time and realized we really do like to be together. There is something magical about walking into your room and witnessing perfectly made beds and fresh towels, when you know you left it otherwise; or going to meals and people serving you whatever you want and not asking you to pay for it. (At least that is the illusion in the moment)
How fun! I've never been on a cruise but I hear the food 24/7 is one of the best parts! I noticed some unhappy faces at the beginning but smiles by the end of your post :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! That looks like so much fun, and I am glad you got to do it with the grandparents and Katie and Nick. It looks like everyone had a wonderful time, and it is always good to remember that we all like each other in the family. I agree that it helps to have the work done for you and just the playing to do.:) You'll have to tell us what cruise you took?
