Change Is In The Air
There is so much change that happened this last month in our family. Paige left, Natalie and Sean moved to Colorado, the Bear Lake condo got sold, the kids started school, Lexi got married, and Taylor and Jenessa got home from their missions. It has been an eventful month with lots of emotions!
Paige loved the MTC and her first companion. Her second companion Sis. Latu is from Tonga and we don't know much about her yet. It has been hard not knowing what Paige is doing every day, and her letters haven't been too descriptive since she arrived in Idaho. I treasure the occasional random texts I get from members in Idaho. They are the best!! We have missed her at the family events, but I really feel she is exactly where she should be right now. I'm keeping up her paigeinpoky.blogspot.com website so all of her letters and pictures will be on there, but occasionally I want to add some to our family blog so that we document some of her mission here too.

This last weekend we flew to Utah for my niece Lexi and Parker's wedding. It just happened to be the same week that my nephew Taylor and other niece Jenessa were coming home from their missions, so it was fun to actually be a part of all the festivities! This is probably the greatest reason for moving out west, we finally feel like we can attend more events like these.
We had an awesome dinner at Oak Wood with the Park clan watching Braxton learn how to slurp spaghetti for the first time. He is adorable. He also loved Sydney and Jackson pushing him in his little car. Grandpa pulled out his high school year books and we saw what a stud he was. McKell loved it and I think Grandpa did too! :) We visited Grandma Arnell for a bit at her apartment in Legacy and looked through some old photo books. She wanted us to stay forever, I think she is really lonely. It's hard to believe she is 94 years old now!

How fun that you get to attend more family events now! I love the random texts and emails from people in Alex's mission as well! I have even gotten a couple of phone calls from people in the wards where he is serving telling me stories about him. :)
ReplyDeleteI will check out Paige's blog. Glad she is doing well on her mission!
